Taipei Times - archives: "Hong Kong woman wants back US$8m in dance fees

A wealthy woman banker in Hong Kong yesterday filed a lawsuit to claim back nearly US$8 million she paid in fees to a Latin dance teacher after he insulted her in public, the South China Morning Post reported yesterday.

Mimi Monica Wong, 60, head of HSBC private banking in Asia, is suing teacher Mirko Saccani for the return of the huge fees after he allegedly called her a "lazy cow" and told her "move your arse."

A High Court hearing on Tuesday was told that Wong agreed to pay a total of over US$15 million for eight years of unlimited dance lessons and competitions around the world.

Under the agreement, Saccini would be her dancing partner and instructor, but the relationship broke down when Saccani allegedly insulted her during a practice session in 2004, the newspaper said."
