Politicos book their corner in cyberspace

siliconindia: "Sarangapani Puli, a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker in Warangal, has hosted www.supportpuliforwgltdp.com to get his message across to Naidu. Reddy's website www.ysrportal.com urges visitors to express support for his candidature as well as the Congress party. Not to be left behind, Reddy's party rival Srinivas has also booked his own corner in cyber space. The site www.dsrinivas.com is under construction.

The sites, www.gkvasan.com and www.evkselangovan.com, are under construction thanks to party workers seeking to get into the good books of the leaders and, through them, to the legislature or parliament.

Naidu had abandoned the site www.nchandrababunaidu.com, which originally contained details of his daily engagements, after the domain's owner sold it to another individual who turned it into a pornographic site. a hunt in a popular search engine for Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Laloo Prasad Yadav's portal surprisingly yields one result - www.lalooprasadyadav.com. However, the site is not yet operational."
