Varanasi blasts: Six militants arrested - NDTV.com - News on Varanasi blasts: Six militants arrested: "The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested six militants of the Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami, a splinter organisation of the Jaish-e-Mohammed in connection with the Varanasi blasts.

The blasts, which took place in the temple town on March 7, claimed 20 lives. Wallilullah, the Pesh Imam of Phoolpur, is among the six men who were arrested. The Imam, a Deoband passout, is the head of the Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami's Uttar Pradesh unit.

According to the police, the three men who planted the bombs, all Bangladeshi nationals, came and met Wallilullah and planned the attack. The police have charged Wallilullah with inciting communal passions by showing the militants visuals of the Babri Masjid demolition and Godhra riots to incite hatred."
