siliconindia.com: "The state exported software products worth Rs 7,000 crore in 2003, a growth of 17 per cent over the 2002, and it was expected to achieve the same level in 2004, Information Technology Secretary Vevek Harinarain said. Tamil Nadu's software exports, which were Rs 3,000 crore two-and-half years ago, registered a 11 per cent growth during the next year and 14 per cent in 2002 and reached 17 per cent in 2003, he said.
