The Times of India: "Uncertainty will loom large over several personalities from divergent fields who may be elected to the Rajya Sabha in the forthcoming elections. Known faces like Anil Ambani, Jaya Bachchan, Lalit Suri, Ambika Soni and Arun Shourie among others have filed nomination papers from states other than their domiciles.
Reliance managing director Anil Ambani, cine personality Jaya Bachchan - both from Mumbai - and Delhi-based hotelier Lalit Suri - all of whom have filed nomination papers from UP. Also in the race from UP was Delhi-based former disinvestment minister Arun Shourie, who is contesting on a BJP ticket. Other Delhi domiciled political faces like Ambika Soni and R K Dhawan - both Congress - have chosen to return to the Council of States from Punjab and Bihar respectively.
Mumbai resident Najma Heptulla, who was deputy chairperson of the Rajya Sabha and associated with the Congress for long, has filed her papers from Rajasthan.
