Turkish Citizen Detained After Attempting To Hijack Plane

Turkish Daily News from Turkey: "A Turkish citizen was arrested on Tuesday in Germany after attempting to hijack a plane belonging to Turkish businessman Vural Oger's Freebird Airlines. The plane was destined to Istanbul from Munich. The 28-year old Turkish citizen tried to hijack the plane a few minutes after the plane took off saying that he was carrying a bomb, which was later revealed to be a mobile phone. Airlines officials said the pilot then returned to the airport and landed the plane 43 minutes after take-off in Munich and the police detained the man."
