Shahrukh's house robbed

NDTV.com - Shahrukh's house robbed: "He may be the Shahenshah of Bollywood but Shahrukh Khan, it seems, is just as vulnerable as the rest of us. Situated at the Bandra seaface in Mumbai, the security at Shahrukh's house (Mannat) is extremely tight at all hours of the day.

But still jewellery, cash and credit cards worth lakhs went missing on Monday night. The Bandra police, investigating the case, say several small thefts have taken place in the bungalow in the past but none of them have been reported.

The police suspect the latest robbery is the job of an insider. ''We are talking to everyone in the house, including those who work there,'' says Amitabh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Zone IX, Mumbai. Till now, nobody has been arrested. But once the police zeroes in, the thief might get upto three years in prison."
