NDTV.com: "Its yet another feather in Aishwarya Rai's global cap. The actress has been invited by the Academy of Motion Pictures to present an Oscar award this Sunday. Aishwarya, however, is unavailable for comment since she is currently shooting for the Mistress of Spices being directed by Gurinder Chadha's husband Paul Mayeda Berges.
The actress has not been given permission as yet by her agents to attend the ceremony on Sunday at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. Her fans will be disappointed because she might not be present at the Filmfare Awards on Saturday."
