Kate Splits & SuperBowl Party

Boston.com / A&E / Celebrity news / Boch dials up $21.3m; Pats put cards on the table:
"PARTY TIME
Our invitation to Playboy's Super Bowl party finally arrived, and guess who's on the guest list? Tom Brady's go-to girl, ''I, Robot' actress Bridget Moynahan. (How much do you want to bet Bill Belichick ordered her to stay away from No. 12 the night before the big game?) Also on the list are actors Johnny Knoxville and Owen Wilson, hip-hopper Chingy, Dorchester's Donnie Wahlberg -- Jimmy, Bobby, and Mark Wahlberg are all winging their way to Jacksonville, we're told -- as well as BU alum Michael Chiklis. . . . A reporter at the San Jose Mercury News has come up with a novel way to pick the winner of Sunday's Super Bowl. Victor Chi, a former Boston Globe intern, compares what Boston and Philly have to offer off the field. Politicos? Chi points out that John Kerry called Lambeau Field ''Lambert Field' during a campaign stop in Wisconsin, while Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has been an Eagles season-ticket holder since 1969. (Edge: Philly.) Restaurants? Joe Milano's Union Oyster House has been in business since 1826, but Pat's and Geno's sell their signature cheesesteak sandwiches 24 hours a day. (Edge: Philly.) So what does Boston win? Boxing, of course. Rocky Marciano beats Rocky Balboa every time.

SPLITSVILLE
The latest cute Hollywood couple to go kaput is Orlando Bloom and Cohasset's Kate Bosworth, whose split was announced in the pages of People magazine this week. We should have seen this coming. Bloom was nowhere in sight when Bosworth showed up at Kevin Spacey's recent concert at the Somerville Theatre, and the 21-year-old actress wouldn't so much as say his name in an interview with GQ. Next up for Bosworth? She'll play Lois Lane in director Bryan Singer's ''Superman Returns."
