Saif eagerly awaits release of Parineeta

NDTV: "With a bag full of films and a kitty of endorsements, chote nawab Saif Ali Khan is one of the big stars of Bollywood today. Speaking to NDTV on his latest film Parineeta, he says that it was his grand mother who helped him with his first period film.

Khan is Shekhar Rai in the film, which is based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's book. This is Saif's first period film and his entire look in Parineeta is very Indian. It is different from the kind of characters he has enacted in the past. The actor who had been virtually written off until the success of Dil Chahta Hai and then Hum Tum is enjoying a good run with Being Cyrus with Naseeruddin Shah to be released soon."
