NDTV: "In the 75th year of the historic Dandi March, no less than six filmmakers are making movies based on Mahatma. Ten-times national award winner Jahnu Barua's Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara takes a look at fading Gandhian values.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra's con don is pitted against Bapu in Munnabhai Meets Mahatma. Anil Kapoor's Mahatma Vs Gandhi explores the troubled relationship between Gandhi and his son Harilal. In Abhik Bhanu's debut, Sab Kuch Hai Kuch Bhi Nahin, a young author wants to become famous by writing a controversial book on Gandhi. And then there's Vinay Mudgal's Aakhri Gandhi.
Recreating the salt Satyagraha is Jayant Gilatar's White Land - a film about the plight of saltpan workers of Gujarat. Gandhi has been the subject of several films before this. But Bollywood has never seen such a deluge on the Mahatma. Khadi seems to be catching attention in an industry overshadowed by skin flicks. "
