d e s i V I S I O N . t v: "Desivision is a broadband television station dedicated to promoting South Asian American arts and entertainment. Our goal is to accelerate the South Asian artistic movement and increase their representation in the entertainment world.

We currently have 6 shows under production which will air by the end of 2005. We are currently airing 3 shows and specials:

"Time2Shine" is a nationwide South Asian talent competition hosted by record executive Sammy Chand of Rukus Avenue. Time2Shine will be filmed live in the top 10 South Asian markets in the US and the winner will be selected based on audience reaction. The grand prize in this competition is a record deal with Rukus Avenue, the first US South Asian record label!

"Backstage" is an interview series hosted by Avani Patel. Avani gets up close and personal and asks the questions you want to know about you favorite South Asians celebrities, artists, and entertainers! Season 2 of Backstage will be hosted by Kamana Sharma.

"All About Us" is a man on the street interview series hosted by Sachin Duggal. Sachin attends the largest South Asian events across the nation and takes an inside look into the “real” issues that young South Asians face everyday.

The three shows that we are currently under production are:

"Move" shows a real life look into the South Asian night life experience and is filmed at a different night club around the country.

"Just For HAHAs" is a South Asian comedy show. This show is geared towards giving aspiring South Asians comedians the opportunity to showcase their comic talent.

"Eyes of the Immigrant" is an interview series with South Asians discussing their plight from the east to the west. "
