Not another MMS clip of a star

Not another MMS clip of a star?- The Times of India: "These are good times for actors genuinely moonlighting for the porn industry. There are so many video clips purporting to portray the pornographic hobbies of Indian actors that these images have no credibility anymore, although the general interest of males in this matter remains indestructible.

The latest to do the rounds is a keyhole shot of a woman with a pleasant paunch who looks like Preity Zinta. The lady in question, whoever she might be, is shot in full 360-degree glory under a shower. In fact, the desperate source of this footage says helpfully that if you make it full screen, you will know that it’s surely Preity Zinta. Apparently it was shot in a hotel room by a rather farreaching housekeeping executive.

In a clear sign that sex MMS\video-swapping is acquiring epidemic proportions, another clip—of a Manisha Koirala lookalike—went into furious circulation on Friday evening, and it was far too graphic to be opened in the presence of women, strangers, or anyone for that matter.

These videos follow graphic sexual footage of girls who look like Mallika Sherawat, Riya Sen and, more cruelly somehow, Sania Mirza. Mysteriously, while the original Anu Agarwal has been missing from the spotlight for a few years, a video clip of her apparent lookalike is in circulation.

A few days ago, police arrested a band of young men who were creating such clips and distributing them through MMS, e-mails and CDs. But fake porn videos are not an industry with a single source that can be busted by arresting a gang. It’s a headless, decentralised phenomenon.

In character, it is like the internet. It’s probable that several men across the country with no links to each other are morphing images of popular figures or passing videos of lookalikes, for fun.

The Mumbai police does not believe there is any immediate commercial motive behind this. It’s perhaps the fallout of an inexplicable desire of many men to behave in what women may consider a very sick fashion.

Apart from the largely innocent film stars, what has been slandered the most is the concept of MMS. An MMS is essentially a paid transfer of an image from one internet or cellular service provider to another. Any video clip today containing porn is being called an MMS, an unfortunate corruption of a very useful technology. "I’ve got an MMS is today a statement that triggers instant male bonding."

I understand the ones made using lookalikes...but how do you believe the cases being filed saying their faces have been morphed. Can they do that? this is definilty not a 100mil hollywood flick.
