Delhi set to get its first IMAX theatre

NDTV: "In a couple of weeks, movie buffs in the national capital region can look forward to the ultimate cinematic experience.

Delhi is all set to get its first IMAX theatre with the launch of the Aeren R Imax theatre at the Rap Adlabs Multiplex in Sahibabad.

The three multiplex screens will open with the long awaited Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Though Delhi has its own popular multiplex chains, IMAX hopes to give the filmgoer a completely different experience.

India already has three IMAX theatres and the exhibitors promise to bring a continuous flow of Hollywood blockbusters as well as documentary style films in 2D and 3D.

Undeterred by the distant location, exhibitors are hopeful that audiences will get hooked to the IMAX experience

With tickets priced between Rs 160 to Rs 200, special concessions will be available for students."
