He was speaking to reporters after receiving the latest investigation report on the case from the Delhi Police Commissioner.
The official further clarified that the Centre, Delhi police or the Delhi government were not involved in any way. Meanwhile, the special cell of the Delhi Police questioned Ashok Chaturvedi, owner of Flex Industries, on Saturday.
Chaturvedi is believed to have tipped off the Samajwadi Party leader about his phones being under surveillance.
The controversy emerged after Amar Singh alleged that his phone calls were tapped. Singh has targeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi on the issue accusing her of having directed the tapping."
