The Week - R. Prasannan & Kallol Bhattacherjee: "A new Left is emerging. One that loves American capital and believes in beating the imperialists at their own game"
Like Britain’s New Labour, which appeared as a counter to Thatcherite rightism, a new Left is emerging in India. It is anti-US politics, but pro-US investment. As the Chinese seem to believe, the idea appears to be to beat the imperialists at their own game.
