BJP for no-confidence against Chatterjee: "The BJP has demanded a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee. This followed noisy scenes in the Lok Sabha over plans to censure Subash Kashyap, former secretary general of the House in a privilege issue.
He is said to have committed breach of privilege and contempt of House. BJP members objected to a motion listed in the day's agenda against Kashyap. Four BJP members of Lok Sabha's Privileges Committee resigned in protest against Kashyap's censure. The party is also contemplating similar withdrawal from other Committees.
Kishan Singh Sangwan, Rajendrasinh Ranana, Ananth Kumar Hegde and Virendra Kumar -- have resigned. "
