NDTV: "A day before Cannes came to a close, Indian animation filmmaker Gitanjali Rao's Printed Rainbow bagged three awards at the International Critics week. This is one of the first parallel sections to the Cannes festival competition, well known for spotting talent.
This year's edition had a surprise winner in 33-year-old Rao who is from Sir JJ School of Applied Art, a freelance animator and an illustrator of children's books. At the Cannes critics' week where directors like Wong Kar Wai and Bernardo Bertolucci were discovered this year, Gitanjali walked away with three of the four prizes.
