NDTV: "The latest Bollywood flick Alag promises to be different, true to its name. But the 'novel' features seem not so new. To begin with, the film's lead star is bald, following the heels of Salman Khan.
It also has a hero with special powers, but that too reminds of Hrithik Roshan in Krrish. Alag is Akshay Kapoor's second film after his debut Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao. Kapoor teams up with Dia Mirza in the film. It now remains to be seen whether Alag will be able to withstand the force of Krrish, which flies into theatres in just a couple of weeks."
