Now, you can visit "Amarnath cave" in Chennai; .:. NewKerala - India's Top Online Newspaper: "A replica of Amarnath cave has been built in Chennai, which enables all to worship Lord Shiva here. The replica is made of wood and coated with plaster of Paris, and the snow-clad Lingam has been built. A large number of devotees are thronging the place to offer their prayers.

The look-alike is 80 feet in height, 150 feet length, and 200 feet in breadth. The pathway to the cave temple is 500 metres long. Artificial fountains, mannequin of sages, sculpted deer and armed soldiers are the major attractions here. Built by around 800 labourers with in a short span of 22 days, the cave's replica took a cost of rupees one crore.

In future, Velu plans to construct a replica of revered Kedarnath and Badrinath dham together at an estimated cost of rupees two crores."

It is just a tourist attraction. It is good to gotot a different variety one apart from the Merina, Movie hall or Theme Park. Thanks for your feedback Mathi
