NDTV-Cricket!: "Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been accused off beating a woman and her son during his birthday party at a Gurgaon club on Tuesday night. Gurgaon resident Neelam Mahajan Singh and her son, whose name also happens to be Yuvraj, have filed a report with the local police that the cricketer beat up both of them late last night.
"I got a call from my son who said he was being beaten. I could hear people in the background abusing," Neelam Mahajan told reporters on Wednesday. The incident reportedly took place during Yuvraj's birthday party at a club in Gurgaon. Neelam and her son also live in the same neighbourhood.
Gurgaon SSP Hanif Qureshi said, "Yuvraj's party was on till 4 am this morning and the police went there shortly afterwards having received a verbal complaint. The cricketer, who is nursing a leg injury due to which he did not travel with the Indian team to South Africa, could not be reached for his reaction."
