Sify.com: "Gayatri Joshi as `Geeta` in `Swades` has stamped her presence in the world of Bollywood. Gayatri began her modelling career in 1996 when she was still at college. Hungry for a change she tried her hands at the Femina Miss India beauty pageant.
Gayatri's modelling assignments include the famous Hyundai ad with Shahrukh Khan and other ads for LG, Godrej Coloursoft, Sunsilk Fruitamin, Ponds, Philips, Bombay Dyeing, Siyaram and Oxenberg, Colgate, Cadbury Perk, Ponds and Boro Natural.
Gayatri also appeared in music videos of Jagjit Singh´s "Sagar Ki Kashti" and Hansraj Hans, "Jhanjaria". Gayatri has also modelled for Seasons catalogue and calendar for the year 2001. "
