Sukran: Ban on Vijay's film?

Music India OnLine: "'Shukran' symbolizes good fortune. The very Shukran seems to run into one trouble after the other. SA Chandrashekar's film had run into problems right from the very beginning. There was dispute over the title. Producer R Kandaswamy had booked the title already for his film. But, encouraged by his yes-men's words, Chandrashekar decided to ignore Kandaswamy and went ahead with the film. Now it is ready for release.

The film has young Ravikrishna and Nadisha in the led. After the intermission, Vijay makes a special appearance to take care of the action segments. The film sure had all the ingredients of a masala entertainer. But, just a few days before its release, producer Kandaswamy went to court. Now, the whole unit is in shambles.

AM Rathnam and SA Chandrashekar are trying to release the film on the 14th of this month. With that in mind, they have filed their replies in the court. They claim that they had invested Rs 4 Crores for the film. Publicity posters have already appeared all over the country. Changing the film's name now will be a big disaster. While Kandaswamy and AM Rathnam anxiously await the court's verdict, 'Shukran's fate hangs in midair. "
