Bollywood Movie News: "Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was released on bail after he was arrested for allegedly hitting a child in Mumbai late on Friday.
The 13-year-old boy is reported to have sustained some injuries but is said to be doing fine now.
The accident took place near Bhavans College in Andheri at about 1.30 am (IST).
"This was in the evening and I was not drunk. Traffic was slow moving and this boy came in front of the car. But I am aware of my responsibility and will pay for his entire treatment," said Saif.
"In fact I am the one who took him to the hospital and went to the police," he added.
This is a bailable offence and Saif Ali Khan has paid a bond of Rs 5,000 at the DN Nagar police station."
