From Job Description: The purpose of the project is to build requirements, design and
implement the replacement of the client's current Mortgage System.
Overall project duration is expected to be at least one year. This project
manager will be expected to provide support and direction for all IT
related project for TBE, including oversite for all project managers on
the related projects.
Project Management Skills:
1. Strong organizational and Time Management skills
* Able to facilitate various types of project team meetings,
including large meetings. Preparation for meeting, use of agendas and
ability to keep project meetings and participants on track is
critical
* Able to manage multiple projects or sub-projects
* Able to follow-up and execute in a timely manner
2. Able to direct and coordinate the activities of multiple project
managers that are working on various related projects
3. Strong communications skills (written & oral)
* Able to communicate at various levels of the organization
* Able to communicate with diplomacy. Providing key information
in a timely, accurate and crisp manner.
* Able to clearly write status reports and maintain project
documentation
* Able to manage conflict appropriately
* Able to prioritize and mitigate risk
* Able to develop and build relationships with key project
stakeholders, managers and resources at all levels
4. Understanding of and able to demonstrate project management skills.
Previous experience in following a project methodology to gather
requirements, design and implement an IT Technology project. This
includes:
* Project planning and monitoring
* Issue prioritization and communication
* Action Item Management and follow-up
* Project Change Management - tracking and communicating the
impact of project scope changes from a budget and schedule perspective
* Project control (schedule, budget)
* Resource management
* Completion of all required PM administrative reporting
documentation per client's standard project doc templates
5. Team Building Skills
* Able to plan and organize team building activities to foster
and promote teamwork
* Experience with managing and executing multiple projects
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate with project managers/team
leads from vendor/consulting firm teams to achieve project objectives
6. Foster relationships with project stakeholders, managers at various
levels, third parties and project resources
7. Set and maintain expectations for key stakeholders
