As in the past, girls with a pass percentage of 79.6 outdid boys (72.9 per cent). Last year the overall pass percentage was 75.2, girls 79.8 per cent and boys 70.60 per cent. In physics 625 candidates have secured centum; chemistry 744; biology 655; botany 24; zoology 7; computer science 217; commerce 118; accountancy 725 and business mathematics 38. "
