Cricket stars aid tsunami relief

San Francisco Chronicle:
"* A jersey autographed by players of the English soccer club Manchester United fetched nearly $37,000 at a charity auction in Hong Kong.

* A Skate-Aid ice show will be held Feb. 4 in Plymouth, Mich. The event is organized by U.S. ice dance champions Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto and also will feature Johnny Weir and Timothy Goebel.

* Top Sri Lankan cricket players and officials traveled to a Tamil rebel stronghold, where they plan to build a village for tsunami victims, an official said. Already battered by two decades of civil war, rebel-held Mullaithivu was one of the towns worst hit by the Dec. 26 tsunami. "
