Manikchand - Underworld? : "Interpol has issued red corner notices against two Gutka barons, Rasiklal Dhariwal and J M Joshi. Dhariwal, who is the owner of the Manikchand Group and Joshi, owner of the Goa Group are facing charges of having underworld links.
Non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against them by a special MCOCA court on December 30, 2004. The warrants had been sought under the stringent MCOCA following which Dhariwal filed an application for its cancellation but his lawyers failed to turn up in the court.
The two Gutka barons have been missing ever since they were accused of helping Karachi-based gangster Dawood Ibrahim's brother Anis. According to reports, they had helped Anis set up a gutka manufacturing company in Karachi."
