EMC in India

EMC, the U.S. data storage company, plans to double its investment in India to $500 million over the next four years, as part of efforts to increase local sales and expand its Indian research facility. The company plans to double its Indian staff to 1,600 by 2008, hiring mostly for its research center in Bangalore.$@ (Bloomberg)
