Got an anti-quota SMS? It's a hoax

IBNLive : Got an anti-quota SMS? It's a hoax: "First it was a message that claimed over 100 doctors sitting on hunger strike had collapsed and that media had been directed not to report the incident, and now another set of messages claim some students have succumbed to the extreme conditions.

Circulated over various mobile networks and signed off as 'Youth for Equality' - the umbrella organisation under which medical students are protesting - the messages claim that two lady doctors "protesting peacefully" had died and that media was being gagged against reporting the incident.

The authorities at AIIMS also deny information on the alleged casualties and some students believe these messages are an attempt to create panic among the protestors."
