The Hindu : Life Bangalore: "In its winding journey through the city, the marathon will touch key landmarks, including the Vidhana Soudha, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Cubbon Park, General Post Office, High Court, and Central Library before culminating at the stadium.
Most marathons are run for a cause. The LBIM allows groups to adopt causes of their own. The marathon itself will be held to promote philanthropy for social justice and social giving for one's favourite cause."
