Asha, Anoushka in Grammy race

NDTV: "sha Bhosle and Pandit Ravi Shankar's daughters Anoushka and Norah Jones have been nominated for the prestigious Grammy Awards 2005.

Asha Bhosle, 72, and Anoushka have been nominated in the category of 'best contemporary world music album'.

Norah Jones, Anoushka's half sister, is in contention for the 'best pop collaboration with vocals' category in nominations announced on Thursday night.

Asha Bhosle's album in collaboration with Kronos Quartet titled You've Stolen My Heart - Songs From R D Burman's Bollywood is in the race on category 73.

Anoushka is in contention in the same category for the album Rise, while Norah is placed in category 8 for Viriginia Moon. (PTI)"
